We are looking for a Project Manager within our environmental enhancement area to work closely with the Programme Manager in the delivery of key projects within our Environmental Enhancement sub-portfolio.

As part of our programme we need to undertake river restoration and habitat enhancement works on chalk rivers and deliver biodiversity improvements across our landholdings. You will be part of a team committed to improving the state of the environment across our water supply area. Working closely with a range of supply chain partners, external organisations and our regulators, you be involved in ensuring the successful delivery of our key environmental commitments.

You will be responsible for contributing towards the successful delivery of these highly ambitious and environmentally beneficial programmes. This will include the delivery of its objectives in collaboration with the fellow team members, various internal functions, framework supplier and the Programme Manager.

A scientific or water industry background is seen as advantageous but not essential to the role. Experience of managing projects throughout the entire lifecycle and collaborating across the business and with external stakeholders will be key to success in the role. Your time will be split between managing your own projects, providing both project and contract management support and advice to others in the team. You will be comfortable with managing budgets and managing suppliers and supply chains.

Please note that as there is an occupational requirement to drive to site on occasion, you will need a full UK driving licence for the role.
