Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer you will provide technical leadership across Capital projects and network operations. Taking ownership of all new network asset aspects to be delivered as part of Capital Delivery and Customer Delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside project delivery teams: Project Managers, Suppliers, ROMs, CSTs and keep other key stakeholders informed. Organise operational support required for Capital delivery project tasks.
- Liaison and coordination between Supply Chain, Capital & Customer Delivery, and Production.
- Review and approve Supplier commissioning plans and where applicable water into supply certification for all projects. Ensuring that new asset is commissioned and completed in line with best practice.
- Must create and submit AW Network RAMS via Planed Works Portal and where applicable Outage requests.
- Must deliver work through the accepted Network RAMS and outage processes considering water quality, customer supply and H&S. Timely delivery, providing 2 weeks’ notice for RAMS approvals.
- Proactively address emerging issues before they affect project outputs or programme. Escalate issues to ensure risks are understood at an appropriate level and the impact is controlled.
- Take ownership to ensure compliance with asset standards to achieve operational and business targets, whilst meeting health and safety, water quality and statutory requirements. Maintain awareness of changes to asset standards. Constructively challenge current or revised asset standards to achieve most efficient business practice.
- Manage work schedule and maintain a rolling up to 12 month lookahead of work. Using this programme to inform resourcing requirements.
- Member of the Network standby rota.
