Choosing Affinity Water means being part of an industry that’s trying to solve one of the major sustainable challenges of the 21st century whilst also making a positive difference to the local environment and local communities.
Water is a big part of life and in the UK, we are lucky enough to know that when we turn on a tap, the water is clean and readily available. But lots goes into delivering clean and reliable water every day and in many exciting positions. Working for a water company means you get to be part of supporting your community and the ecosystem. This industry is growing fast and needs people who want to make a real difference.

Hear from one of our apprentices
"I am the Production Lead for our Stort region and have worked my way up since joining the company as an apprentice in 2011. It’s a great company to work for and has been a huge part of building my career from the bottom up. AW took me on and trained me up, right from retaking school exams, through to University and have given me the opportunities to build social, technical and corporate skills. I've seen so many colleagues move through the ranks, change departments, take training courses to upskill themselves and excel in their careers. It's been a real joy to see all the growth during my time here at Affinity. What do I enjoy most? The two things that stand out straightaway are the people and the variety of work. The people make or break your workplace. Here there’s always someone willing to help you and it’s really good working with the colleagues that I do. The second thing is there’s just such a variety. Sometimes it can be quite a simple job and you see instant rewards from the work being carried out and then other times it can be really tricky and the odds are stacked up against you and you have to think your way through situations. "
