Regulation Manager - Major Projects

Affinity Water are looking for an experienced Regulation Manger, this is an exciting high profile role within Affinity Water where you will have the autonomy to influence and be part of a high performing team
Reporting to the Head of Economic Regulation, you will become Affinity Water’s centre of excellence for regulatory matters relating to the implementation of our SRO (Strategic Resource Option) major projects.
You will need to provide high quality advice, analysis, briefing and recommendations as the framework for economic regulation of SROs develops.
You will need the think strategically, identifying, considering and managing corporate risk to protect regulatory and commercial interests of Affinity Water and its customers.
You will proactively and collaboratively engage with colleagues and teams across the company, to ensure that Affinity Water responds effectively to regulatory requirements and shapes and influences the developing regulatory regime.
You will be responsible for regulatory input to major projects regulatory submissions, consultations and business planning for the next price review.
What you need
- Degree level qualification in analytical discipline
- Experience in economic regulation within the water sector, other regulated utility, regulatory body or consultancy.
- Experience with water sector strategic resources options or major infrastructure projects an advantage.
- Highly competent in analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking.
- Experience in risk and mitigation management.
- Able to work accurately, prioritise work and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to operate effectively with a high level of autonomy.
