Join our Finance team as an Assistant Treasurer, where you’ll play a critical role in our treasury operations, leading on control, reporting and systems. Driving impactful relationships with internal teams, banks and investors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference within Affinity Water.
We are the UK’s largest Water-Only business, with over 1400 employees and 4 million customers, our dedicated workforce are ensuring that fresh drinking water is delivered to over 1.5 million properties per day across Herts, Beds, Bucks, London and the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line management responsibility for Treasury Analyst.
- Oversight of daily cash operations including cash, bank and investment management completed by Treasury Analyst.
- Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of control and reporting environment.
- Lead on external and internal reporting/compliance for Treasury activity.
- Systems management and development.
- Oversee the day to day running of the Group's complex funding structure
- Provide treasury expertise to support the Group's financial budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in managing relationships with the bank group, bond investors, debt analysts and credit rating agencies
- Liaise with other team members e.g. tax, finance and legal on a range of issues
- Support the Head of Corporate Finance in all other areas of Treasury Management to drive further improvements and efficiencies.
Capabilities and Qualifications:
- Proven treasury experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, combined with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
- Relevant accountancy or treasury qualifications (e.g., ACT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
