Affinity Water are looking for a highly organised and proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join the Health and Safety Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support a vital function within the organisation, contributing to health, safety and wellbeing across the business.
You will work closely with a professional and supportive team, developing your administrative, coordination, and reporting skills in a varied and meaningful role. The position plays a key part in supporting the Health, Safety and Estates Directorate to deliver effective services and ensure continued compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer health surveillance medical bookings, including tracking and reporting outcomes.
Manage and administer the lone working system, alongside providing support for other business systems as required.
Offer flexible administrative support to the wider Health, Safety and Estates Directorate to meet changing business needs.
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own workload effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across the business
Experience in writing practical, concise, and well-structured reports
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

£27,000 dependant on skills and experience
Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
