Affinity Water has a new job opportunity available as a Catering Assistant at our Hatfield Hub.
The Role:
As a Catering Assistant you will be provide a vital service in creating fresh, daily meals that fuel our employees and delight the external organisations who use our facilities. Your service will make a real difference to their well-being every day.
What you'll be doing:
As well as undertaking general catering duties, our catering staff are responsible for checking quality and trouble-shooting issues as they arise and continually maintaining high standards of customer service.
The preparation and provision of a range of meals and light snacks including a breakfast and lunchtime counter service and barrister style coffee.
Preparation of in-house hospitality for meetings and events.
Preparation and provision of the lunch time deli bar for sandwiches and salads, ensuring optimum and flexible use of resources at all times.
Compliance with all Health, Safety and Well-being working practices and procedures.
Ensuring there is always a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained within the Bistro, including undertaking deep cleaning duties as required.
Promote and maintain a high standard of hygiene in accordance with the Food Hygiene Legislation.
What you'll need:
Successfully completed level 3 in Catering Food Safety.
Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
Excellent customer service skills.

Salary: £27,500 (dependant on skills and experience).
Hours of Work: Monday (7;00am - 2:00pm) & Tuesday - Friday (7:00am - 3:00pm).
