CAD Technician - 6 Month FTC

We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting engineering and operational teams by creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings and GIS mapping data.
What You'll Do
Produce and update CAD drawings, including site plans, layouts, process flow diagrams, and electrical drawings.
Maintain drawing standards, document control, and version management.
Manage CAD libraries, templates, and technical documentation.
Support GIS mapping activities and asset data updates.
Act as the main point of contact for CAD-related queries and support.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Proven AutoCAD experience in an engineering or technical environment.
Experience producing and amending technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable
Experience within utilities, water, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of electrical/process drawings and GIS systems.
Experience using SharePoint or document management systems.
