Investment Programme Manager

Affinity Water has a brilliant opportunity available to become a Investment Programme Manager within our Asset Strategy & Capital Delivery Team.
The Role:
As a Investment Programme Manager you will lead on assigned investment programmes to ensure a value-based efficiency and benefits in the delivery, supporting in capturing overview of 7 programmes totalling to circa £250m of the AMP8 capital programme.
This role will work with Programme/Project Managers to make sure the projects within the programme are performing as per forecast with respect to time and money.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsibility of supporting in programme/project governance compliance through interaction with programme/project manager throughout the lifecycle of the projects leading to a smooth transition into operational business.
- Responsibility of supporting in programme/project assigned investment programme baselining with respect to plan and budget.
- Participate in monthly programme performance reviews with programme managers for risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and report RAG (Red, Amber and Green) status of the programme/project.
- Engage and manage direct stakeholders in context of their role within the programme.
- Actively support in programme delivery activities including efficiencies and innovation to meet business needs.
What you'll need:
- Atleast 5+ years experience in a Project Management Role.
- Experience in building positive and productive relationships and making links with stakeholders within business.
- Strong communication skills and attention to details.
- Engineering experience in a utility environment.
- UK Driving Licence.

- Salary: £50,000 - £64,000 (dependent on skills and experience).
- Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
