Affinity Water has a new exciting job opportunity to become a HR Business Partner working in our People & Culture Team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of HR, the post holder will design and implement people plans that meet the needs of their Directorates, providing first class advice and guidance that secures the right people in the right roles to achieve successful outcomes and provide development opportunities.
Acting as a trusted partner to leaders, you will be accountable for leading the people agenda in your designated Directorates and providing insight on the main challenges ahead and how to address them.
What you'll be doing:
- Contribute to the directorate business strategy by helping our leaders to identify, prioritise, and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.
- Lead on employee relations work and coach and support a HR Advisor in delivering pragmatic solutions with the needs of both the employee and company in mind.
- Design, manage and implement HR Policies to drive cultural.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to employees and leaders when appropriate.
- Coach and support a HR Advisor and HR Assistant within your pod.
- Assist business leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.
What you'll need:
- Proven track record as a HR Business Partner or a Senior Advisor role with a departmental responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and relevant policies and procedures.
- Degree qualified or time-served. CIPD qualified.
- Experience in driving organisational change, performance improvement, and employee engagement.
- A critical friend: able to challenge constructively and supportively at all levels.
- UK Manual Driving Licence.

- Salary: £55,000 (salary dependant on skills and experience)
- Hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:00am - 16:30pm (Friday)
