At Affinity Water, how we communicate with our customers really matters. We’re looking for a Content and Copy Manager to lead the delivery of clear, consistent, and customer-first communications that build trust and make complex information easy to understand.
This is a pivotal role, responsible for the quality and governance of all customer-facing content, from letters and SMS to scripts and guidance, while leading a team of copywriters to shape tone of voice, uphold editorial standards, and ensure everything we produce reflects our brand and regulatory commitments.
Working closely with teams across Customer, Digital, Legal, and Regulation, you’ll turn complex information into plain English, making sure all communications are accurate, accessible, and effective.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading and developing a team of content and copywriters
Owning customer communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance
Establishing editorial processes and quality standards
Using insight and feedback to continuously improve content
Acting as a trusted advisor on customer communication across the business
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in content leadership or copy management
Strong background in customer-focused, plain English communication
Experience working in regulated or complex environments
Excellent writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills

Salary: up to £45,000 dependant on skills and experience
