Maximo Specialist - 12 Month FTC

Affinity Water is excited to be growing our Maximo Team, and we are looking for someone who is passionate, curious and ready to make an impact to join us as a Maximo Specialist on a 12 month fixed Term Contract.
The Role:
As a Maximo Specialist, you will be seen as one of the company’s resident experts in how Maximo works. In conjunction with IT and business change teams you will be responsible for requirements definition, analysis, and design of Maximo enhancements, automation scripts and integrations.
The Maximo system at Affinity Water is customised and includes integration to many other systems including:
- ESRI GIS – Mapping solution
- Hi-Affinity – CMS
- Aurora – Streetworks Management system
- Waternet – Leakage Monitoring system
- Oracle Fusion – Finance and Procurement system
- FLS Visitour – Scheduling
There is an ambitious road map for the next few years which includes regulatory change, enhancements, small change, and an upgrade to MAS to name a few. Maximo is and will continue to be a central component of Affinity Water’s IT enterprise supporting the operational business in meeting our commitments.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and build new applications, interfaces, and extensions using Java, JavaScript, and external APIs to extend Maximo's capabilities for strategic goals across the business.
- Working with architecture and development teams to help shape and design fit for purpose solutions.
- Development and implementation of minor configuration changes to the Maximo system such as; Start Centres, BIRT Reporting, Application Changes and Data Updates.
- Maintain product functional expertise in Maximo.
- Assist the Maximo Support team in investigating and solving recurring or challenging support issues.
What you'll need:
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and contribute to ways of working within a small team of likeminded individuals.
- Experience with various project methodologies and can support colleagues in developing their skills.
- Experience of implementing or supporting Maximo 7.6 (MAS is desirable but not essential)
- Experience Scripting in Java, Python, Jython.
- Ability to work independently using your own initiative or as part of a team.
• Understanding of development life cycles. - Experience of Maximo configuration such as; Start Centres, Queries, KPIs, Application Designer, Conditional Expressions, SQL and data analysis

- Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
