Project Manager - River Restoration

The Role:
As a River Restoration - Project Manager you will be working with a variety of stakeholders and our supply chain partners to design and build environmental construction projects on our precious chalk streams. This work is part of Affinity Water’s commitments under the Water Industry National Environment Program (WINEP).
What you'll be doing:
- Work with our supply chain to create project designs that meet stakeholder needs and ensure that designs comply with the necessary environmental permits.
- Writing and managing contracts, whilst overseeing our supply chain partners to deliver designs and construction of projects, ensuring all applicable safety, construction and environmental regulations are met.
- Act as a primary point of contact with framework suppliers and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure relevant project management information is provided and is readily accessible.
- While delivering in this challenging environment you will maintain a key focus on ensuring projects stay to agreed timescales and ensure delivery with high levels of cost efficiency and quality.
For this role you may be required to deliver projects across all three Affinity Water regions including regular travel to remote sites. Occasional evening or weekend attendance at stakeholder events may also be required.
What you'll need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
- Experience of using Asite software desirable.
- 5+ years project management experience.
- Previous use and administration of contract forms i.e. NEC family of contracts (writing and reviewing).
- Experience of working closely with supply chain partners, and managing wider stakeholders (e.g. Landowners, Local Authorities, the Environment Agency, etc).
- UK Driving Licence.

- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (salary dependant on skills and experience)
- Hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
